The Net Crewe and Nantwich is a printed reference magazine which is distributed to over 45,000 homes in the Crewe and Nantwich area.
This is the third edition of The Net to be launched. The first two (The Net Rochester and Chatham and The Net Gillingham and Rainham) were started over three years ago by my father in Kent. I moved to this area ten years ago to study at Crewe and Alsager University and have never returned home. About a year ago I was assisting with some of the art work when we began discussing the possibilities of a Crewe and Nantwich edition. In Kent over 200 commercial advertisers receive a steady stream of enquiries and numerous voluntary organizations have gained new members as well as benefiting from free publicity in The Net for their events. We decided the same could happen here.
As in the printed magazine The Net Crewe and Nantwich Online is divided into three main sections: Advertisements from local businesses; Contact details for local voluntary organisations and publicity for forthcoming events. Unlike the printed magazine, space is relatively unlimited, allowing both businesses and voluntary organisations room to say far more about themselves.
